Narrow, tube-shaped houses with 3 to 5 floors are a quite common type of dwelling in major cities, especially in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. However, this reality creates several issues such as: difficulty in moving between floors (for the elderly, people with joint problems, pregnant women), and in some other cases, moving by stairs becomes very difficult, risky, and sometimes even impossible. This gives rise to the need for an elevator type that is easy to install for families.
